Resituated is an interdisciplinary design studio integrating architecture, redevelopment and placemaking.

Their work is an exploration of ordinary architecture, in particular its potential to produce unique form and spatial experiences.

They design using a generic architectural language of ordinary materials and typologies, but challenge assumptions about their qualities and value.

For them, the everyday is a critical venue for architecture. When approached critically, the ordinary can contain the potential for unique forms and spatial experiences.  An alternate situation where the medium’s assumptions, trends and values are suspended by more dominant forces in play.

Resituating a project's elements and qualities, their designs are non-fictional works that are economical and edited, but editorial of their surroundings.
